KNIFE SKILLS, SAFETY, & SHARPENING
Knives have proven themselves to be the most useful tools in the woods. They are used to carve, slice, and cut our way through any task that is thrown at us. Being able to effectively and safely use a knife is a crucial survival skill, and a must-know for anyone who is passionate about adventuring outdoors.

SPOON CARVING

Spoon carving is an addictive and meditative activity in which we carve wood to create a usable form of art! Using simple tools: knife, hook knife, saw, and sandpaper, you will be instructed on the techniques of selecting wood, safe carving techniques, and how to care for your new eating utensil. You will go home with at least one wooden spoon (students usually make more than 1) and a whole new skillset!
